AAA's Approved Auto Repair (AAR) program takes the gamble out of finding quality auto repair for AAA members. Repair facilities displaying the AAR symbol have earned AAA approval by demonstrating that they consistently offer high-quality repairs.
All AAR shops have passed a thorough investigation to ensure they meet AAA's exacting standards, and each shop has agreed by written contract to offer AAA members the following guarantees:
- All repair work will carry a limited warranty of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- The shop agrees to return to you all replaced parts, if you request, except for rebuildable exchange cores.
- Before performing any repair work that exceeds the original estimate by 10% or more, the shop will secure your authorization.
- In the event of a dispute between you and the facility, the shop must abide by all decisions as arbitrated by AAA.
To receive the full benefit of the program, simply present your AAA membership card when you drop off your car at an AAR facility.
